VHS Tapes to DVD or Digital
The VHS format was created in the 70’s by JVC (Victor Company of Japan). It became the major consumer video format because it was easy to record to and playback. I remember my family members with the original portable VHS recorder on their shoulder at family weddings and reunions. Preserve those memories now!
Cost: $20 per tape to DVD (up to 2 hours per tape)
Additional Copies: $5 each.

HI8, 8MM Tapes to DVD or Digital
Video8 and Hi8 (high-band Video8) were popular in the late-80’s and 90’s. They quickly became more popular than VHS because of smaller tape sizes and higher quality, longer length recordings. The Sony Hi8 camera became the go to for creating home videos because it was so much more portable than the VHS style recorders. We took ours with us everywhere, even skiing down a mountain in Switzerland! Preserve those memories now!
